"And I guess that's my cue," Enya said to Dev as she made her way to where Sean and Miri stood. A long red ribbon was twisted around her wrist, and she started to unwrap it as she approached the happy couple. As the ribbon unfurled, Enya cast out a string of runes to form a barrier around the place where the ceremony was taking place. "I will not allow any more nonsense," she said under her breath as the last of the runes danced around Sean and Miri.
"After much trial and tribulation, we are gathered here for the joining of Miranda Rydenborne and Sean Mcgowan," Enya said to those gathered around them. "They have had to wait much too long for this moment, so, without further interruption..."
Enya wrapped the ribbon around Sean and Miri's hands carefully, making sure the bonds were neither too tight nor too loose. "I'm sure you both have vows to say to each other, so I will make this brief. This ribbon symbolizes your love and commitment to one another. Uniting but not constricting. Joining but not hurting. May your union be for as long as love lasts, and may that be for eternity."
As Enya placed her hands upon Sean and Miri's, she said a prayer for their happy union, and then she turned to Sean. "Sean, please, speak our words of love to your bride."

Sean looked at Miri with a smile on his face as he looked deep into her eyes. Erin was off to the side and picked up a microphone she started to sing gently.

Miri wiped a tear from her eye as she listened to first the song that Erin sang and then to Sean's words. The only thing that would have made this moment more perfect would have been for her parents to both be there in the flesh, but she knew her mother Cassandra was there in spirit. She could also feel the presence of Jean Grey and Ceri Creed join the ceremony on the astral plane.
"Before I say my vows, I want to welcome those joining us from beyond the veil and across the astral plane. Your presence here is a blessing. Thank you," Miri said quietly as she felt the touch of many as she concentrated on Sean once more. "To be honest, I feared this day would never come, and it's not because of outside drama or familial strife. For a very long time I crawled into a hole and stayed there, as far as my personal life was concerned anyway. When my mother died, I thought that was the end. Sean, if it hadn't been for you, I'd still be hiding parts of myself from the world. It is one thing to give to those in need or to be there for one's family and friends, but it is another to feel the deep love you have shown to me. I am proud to be your wife and to become a part of your family. To be one with you in the greater scheme of the universe. To become one in light and life and love."

Enya motioned for Mira, Erin and Isabella to join her in front of the happy couple as she, too, felt the arrival of many spirits from beyond the veil and living souls who walked the astral plane to be there at that moment. "Ladies, I think it's time to bless the rings," she said as Erin and Isabella held out the rings for Sean and Miri. "May these rings be a symbol of your everlasting love for each other," Enya said as she passed her hands over the wedding bands.
"Sean," Enya added as she motioned for Erin to hand the ring to the groom, "please, place the ring on Miri's finger and add any vows you wish."

Ceri's astral form stood with Jean as she had a smile on her face watching the festivities but there was a big part of her that wished Shannon was there with her.
She watched as Erin handed the ring to the groom and Sean placed it on Miri's finger. "No more needs to be said apart from the fact I love you my sweet Miri and I always will."He said with a big smile on his face.
