A Merry New York Christmas

[Isabella Dragotti]

                *I will spare my ex-spouse's life for now. It's Christmas. His present won't be a grave marker* Isabella thought. She saw Craig and approached him. Isabella nodded at everyone present. She frowned after she focused on Craig.

                ''Your life won't end now, my ex-spouse. That is my present to you,'' Isabella said. She began to adjust her long dress. 

[Wendy Darling]

                 Tears formed in Wendy's eyes as she wandered. It was her first Christmas without John and Michael. How could she forget about Peter Pan and the Lost Boys? Wendy remembered Peter flying to Captain Hook's ship and tormenting him every single Christmas. How was it different from any other day? She always tried to convince Peter not to steal anything precious to Captain Hook, but the latter never heard her.

                   *I'll eventually be with my family. Hopefully* Wendy thought. She walked by a shop and paused. Her eyes widened at what she saw. Wendy smiled. She saw a small teddy bear for Michael and a mystery book for John. 

                   


 

[Jack Sparrow]

Jack took off at a faster clip with James following close behind. "I am not in the mood to explain this to the jolly old elf. At least not until I can arrange a parlay that does not leave me eternally on the naughty list!" he shrieked as he saw someone else he wished to avoid. "We must hurry!" Jack said loudly as he and James walked into the Sea Grill.

[Wendy Darling]

                        *It is Christmas. I should purchase gifts* Wendy thought. She opened the door and walked into the shop. Wonder filled her eyes the minute she saw various books and stuffed animals with other toys. Wendy saw the book and teddy bear again. After approaching the items, she lifted them.

                        Wendy purchased the book and bear. She walked out of the shop. She approached the Dragottis and everyone else. Wendy began to curtsy.

"I am planning to stay as close to family as possible and especially you sweetheart."She said hugging Shannon again. "I'm sorry Shannon I just missed you so much.....Seeing you was one of the biggest things that kept me from going over the edge into the darkness." She said with a small smile.

[Firechild]

The blonde haired Phoenix made her way up the side walk towards the group. She wore a brown leather jacket with black leggings and boots. A white shirt with a gold decorative choker with a small Phoenix bird in the middle of it. True she could have worn something a bit warmer but the constant celestial warmth within her was more than enough. Her sister nor her mother was there with her but that was perfectly fine.

"Well I hope you don't mind a Frost joining this merry troop." Claire said with a laugh.

[Wendy Darling]

               One corner of Wendy's mouth almost reached her eye. She faced Vulpine. ''Families should be together.'' The corner of her mouth went down. Tears formed in Wendy's eyes again. *Families should be together.*

              Wendy turned to the new arrival. Although she never saw her before, she still managed to curtsy. ''How do you do?'' Wendy still held the bag of items for her siblings in case she reunited with them. *We'll eventually be together, Michael and John. Maybe someday.*

                

[Kitty Pryde]

Hanukkah didn't feel the same this year with Stalik and Abbey away from home, but Kitty tried her best to keep those thoughts to herself. That was easier said than done in a group that included telepaths.

"Hi everyone," she said as she made her way over to the group. "Wendy, Claire, I'm glad you made it. Claire, Emma mentioned she'd be here later. Something about a trip to a jeweler. It wasn't one I'd ever heard of before."

Kitty walked over to Wendy and smiled. "I know this Christmas hasn't been easy for you, Wendy.  If you ever want to sit and talk, I'd be happy to listen. I'm missing members of my family, too."

[Wendy Darling]

           Wendy tilted her head to one side at the sight of the next new arrival. She began to curtsy another time. She tried to remember who Emma was. Wendy saw Kitty's smile.

          ''Thanks. Which family members aren't with you now?'' Wendy looked thoughtful. ''Are there other Neverland people here?''

[Craig Dragotti]

                    Craig focused on Isabella. He didn't wish to consider her fate after the event. He knew he wouldn't be with her for some time. Tears formed in Craig's eyes. He sobbed for a few moments. His shoulders moved.

                     Craig placed his arms around Isabella. ''Let's be together before you return to your cell. You will eventually return to your past self.'' Craig began to kiss his ex-wife. He still considered Isabella as his wife. He also considered moments he would never get back.

[Isabella Dragotti]

                   Isabella began to frown after Craig sobbed. ''You're such a crybaby, Craig.'' She was embraced. Her eyes widened as she scowled at the same time. Isabella trembled a little. She was even more ticked off after she was kissed.

[Craig Dragotti]

                Craig disregarded Isabella's words about him being a crybaby. He released the woman he loved. That was when he remembered something. Craig faced his companions.

           ''Did two pirates enter the Sea Grill earlier? Jack Sparrow and James Hook?'' he asked. He thought he saw another pirate. Craig gasped. His eyes became wide. ''Jasper Hook!'' 

               Craig remembered Jasper using illusions of their mother and his younger brother's betrothed to torment James. He also remembered viewing the younger brother's tears. ''I'm going to tell Jasper off. He is probably tormenting his brother again.''

[Kitty Pryde]

Kitty had to think for a minute about Neverland people after Wendy asked her the question. "Besides the Hook brothers, I don't think there are other people from Neverland here," Kitty replied, "but I could be very wrong. With all the magic in the world in flux somehow, I would not be surprised to learn more people have arrived but just aren't known to us yet."

As she looked around at everyone, Shadowcat sighed a bit. "My husband and our daughter are away on a mission to another realm, and they have been gone a very long time. I miss them a lot, and I hope they make it back soon."

Before she could say another word, Lockheed, Kitty's faithful alien dragon companion, started to get a bit fidgety. "Lockheed, what's the matter?" she asked as she looked into the distance. "Uhm, that can't be good."

A very large steampunk-looking airship was hovering over midtown, and two SHIELD flying transports could be seen on either side.

"Wendy, I don't suppose you recognize that from Neverland, do you?" Kitty asked as Tony Stark just glared at everyone. "What is it, Tony?"

"You mean you all didn't order that to come pick you up? You know. Uber Air or something?" Stark quipped as he looked at the huge flying vessel.

 

[Craig Dragotti]

             Craig's eyes widened after he saw a large airship and flying transports. ''WHAT are those?'' He glanced at Isabella. ''Although you tried to kill me earlier, I'll still protect you.'' Craig kissed one side of Isabella's face. He got in front of her and scowled at the airship. Craig forgot about the Hook brothers. 

[Wendy Darling]

             Wendy's eyes widened. She shook her head in disbelief. ''Captain Hook is here right now?! He is probably trying to figure out a way to harm me for Peter removing his hand and feeding it to a crocodile months ago.'' Wendy smiled. ''I still try to convince Captain Hook he is a proper gentleman.''

              Wendy focused on Kitty. ''Don't worry. I'm certain your husband and daughter will be fine. Do you have a way to contact them?''

              Wendy looked thoughtful. ''Perhaps my brothers did follow me from Neverland. Maybe Peter and Tinker Bell are here as well.'' Wendy's smile remained. Her eyes became wide again after she saw air transports and a single airship. She turned to Kitty. 

               ''I don't recognize that airship at all. It seems like the type of ship Captain Hook would use. He sometimes wished to fly so that he could capture Peter. I remember Peter convincing Captain Hook his mother wanted him to be a pilot instead of a pirate.''
