OOC: For purposes of this thread, the timeline is going to be very vague, but it is set after Sean & Miri's wedding. It is going to sit in a sort of time bubble so that everyone can post--hero and villain alike--including those in holding cells. Even Doc Nemesis has a heart for the holidays!

"Logan, please, just go with it," Kari said as she and her husband made their way down Fifth Avenue toward Rockefeller Center. "Jubilee wanted to get all the students out here for...what did she call it? An old fashioned X-Men Xmas? You know Jubilee. She wants everyone to forget the lesser points of last year and just have fun."
"With Quire? Ice skating?" Logan asked as he rolled his eyes. "Sure. Makes as much sense as a root canal when you don't need one."
Kari chuckled and handed Logan a flask. She waved her hand, and it looked like a Starbucks cup. "Your reward for putting up with all this. We'll head to Guernica later. I promise."

"Yes, Pepper. I know the company party is tonight. But I promised the kiddos I'd take them shopping for their mom," Tony Stark said over his cell phone as he herded Niamh and Jackson toward Rockefeller Center before heading to some of the trendier shops off Fifth Avenue. "I'll be there. I promise." As Tony ended the call, he saw Niamh running ahead of him and Jackson and putting money in the pot of yet another Salvation Army or Volunteers of America Santa's Helper. "Short stack! Hold up there!"
"She hates that nickname," Jackson muttered as he noticed his sister break into another run and then stop right in front of their Aunt Kari and Uncle Logan. "Oh, this is gonna be fun."
"I get along with your family just fine," Tony said as he walked up behind Niamh and watched as she leaped up and hugged first Kari and then Logan. "Hello, almost in-laws," Iron Man said as Karenza's head snapped up. "Gotcha! No, I am not marrying your sister. She'd sooner marry Loki than come within 10 feet of me that way. Logan, you look suitably grouchy for the holiday season. You have your charter member card for the Bah Humbug Club with you? Bet that thing is gold plated!"
"Funny, Tony. Really funny," Logan growled as Tony laughed.
"You kids, and I use that term very loosely, want to join us Starks for a bite? Rock Center Cafe is open, and you can watch the skaters," Tony asked as Kari looked at Logan. "Niamh said Jubilee was doing some, well, Jubilee-like event there today. I told the kids we'd get their mom a present today, but some skating couldn't hurt, could it?"

Captain Hook scowled as he walked down the street. He never enjoyed Christmas for various reasons. *Cecilia, my betrothed, refused to marry me after my past lies. I defeated my older brother after he refused to part with extra gold* he thought. Captain Hook pulled his dark jacket tighter around his body. *I just have to be far from Christmas trees and gifts.*
Captain Hook made sure to conceal his hook. *I don't wish to endure others gawking at me due to my hook* he thought. His eyes widened the minute he saw Tony with Kari and Logan. Captain Hook approached them at a snail's pace.

Alexia made her way down the street to where she felt her family and friends were gathering. She was in normal clothes but mjounir was still at her side as was normal to those who had been around her but it didn't stop her from having a good time. As she neared she could see Stark and while part of her was glad to see him for the families sake being together over the holidays part of her was always leery.

Captain Hook began to bow near everyone. Since he didn't wear a hat, there was no need to remove it. ''Captain James Hook at your service.'' Although he had no idea what the others' plans were, he was eager to do anything to be far from Christmas related things. Even if there were potential Christmas related things, he guessed he could bear them. Captain Hook still kept his hook hidden from view.
*Perhaps I'll find myself at a restaurant. At least Cookson isn't cooking anything this time. I never enjoyed eating a whole lot of what he cooked. Cookson also wasn't always graceful at all. At least clumsy Smee isn't with me now. At least that obnoxious boy, Peter Pan, isn't here to torment me this time.*
Captain Hook saw a woman he wasn't quite familiar with. Was she a possible friend or enemy? He kept his eye on her. Captain Hook bowed near the woman. ''Captain James Hook at your service.'' Although his mother was long deceased, her past words about respecting women still remained with him.

Alexia smiled. "Captain you surprise me I am shocked you don't remember me? I am Alexia Odinson Macfeorais....Kari is my mother. I am just here to be with family."She responded with a smile.

Captain Hook heard Alexia's words. A rare kind smile formed on his face. ''My apologies for not recognizing you earlier. Cherish your family for as long as you can. Well, unless they are immortal. Also, unless your relatives are your enemies such as my older brother, Jasper Hook.''
Immortal relatives. *If only my mother was immortal. I would never reveal tears another time if she never died. How I wish to be in her arms again. Even if just for a few moments. I don't wish to view my mother as a decaying spirit again.* Captain Hook scowled at the memory of Jasper creating the illusion of their decaying mother.

"Alexia," Kari said as she made her way over to her daughter, "and Captain Hook. I'm glad you both were able to join us. And Tony, I'm sure everyone could stand a bite to eat before joining in the skating with Jubilee. She's been planning this for weeks. It's the one thing she's missed living in California again."
"What is keeping everyone?" a voice rang out over the X-Men's comm line. "Hello! I am not skating alone!" Jubilee said loudly so everyone could hear her. "And Jono is being a buzz kill and won't skate! He's afraid he'll melt the ice now that he got his fire back, but I told him Bobby has that covered!"
"We are headed in your direction Jubilee," Kari said as she tapped her comm link. "We might have an Avenger or two joining us." It was nice to see Alexia there next to Tony Stark. With Thor involved in life in Asgard, it was a good idea to have Lady Thor taking his place among Earth's Mightiest Heroes. "Alexia, will your father be joining us for some of the celebration?"
Kari looked at Captain Hook and worried that this might be a bit too much for him. His introduction so far to the X-Men had been a bit of a rough one. "Captain, I know Jack Sparrow plans to join us soon. He said something about bringing an old friend along. I have no idea who it is this time, though. Would you care to join us for lunch until he gets here?"

Captain Hook began to smile at Kari. ''Skating?'' He placed his hand under his face. He looked thoughtful. ''I might remember how to skate. Sounds like fun.''
Captain Hook's eyes widened after he heard a voice. His smile came back. He looked around. Captain Hook eventually recognized Jubilee's voice. His smile stretched from ear to ear. He looked forward to ice skating.
Captain Hook turned to Kari as his expression became one of interest. ''An old friend of Jack Sparrow? Sounds interesting.'' Captain Hook nodded. ''I'll be more than happy to join you for lunch. What are we going to eat?''
A mental image of ice skating formed in Captain Hook's mind. He imagined himself skating on one foot. He slid and fell on his face. His crew appeared in the mental image. His men all laughing. The mental image disappeared.

"It is possible mother I did tell him he needed to join us for Christmas even if it was only for a short while.....He said he would make the time."Alexia said with a nod and a smile. She looked over at Stark and smiled at him as well. She knew the Iron Man was still trying to wrap his head around the thunder god now being a thunder goddess instead.

"Did I hear my name being mentioned? Good!" Jack Sparrow said as he dashed around some tourists and nearly walked into Tony Stark. "Why are you standing there? Don't you have avenging to do?"
"Nice to see you, too, Sparrow," Tony said as he rolled his eyes. "Short stack, you want to go eat and skate first, or should we get your Mom's gift?"
"I think I can help with that!" Jack said as he pulled a red velvet sack from under his coat. "James! I'm sorry I didn't greet you sooner. This iron-clad..."
"Jack, play nice!" Kari growled as Logan started to chuckle. "Or I'll help Logan drink all your rum."
"Perish the thought!" Sparrow yelped as he took James aside and showed him his prize. "I forgot I had this old thing. I got this from an old friend of mine named Nick. It's magic and can dispense gifts faster than my Pearl could move in heavy winds. Want to give it a try?" he said as he held open the bag, the heavy gold tassels and cord lopping to either side.

Tony looked over at Alexia when she mentioned Thor and knew he had to ask THE question as soon as the words left her lips. "Will Thor be bringing Amora with him? Don't get me wrong. Everybody needs someone, but she seems a little, well, too much like Loki, if you know what I mean?"
"Tony, please don't pester Alexia with questions about Thor's personal life," Kari said as she shook her head. "It's Christmas, or Yule, or Hanukkah or whatever holidays we all celebrate. For one day, can't we please have a bit of peace?"
"Lighten up, bub," Logan said as he took a swig from his magically-cloaked flask. "You and I have both made some odd life choices. Thor has the right to live his as he sees fit, even if you can't stand it."
"I just don't want some magically-enhanced dust up," Tony said as he glanced over at Sparrow and Hook. "Wait. Some guy named Nick gave that to you? Seriously. A guy named Nick with a magic red sack?"
Tony looked at Alexia and just shrugged his shoulders. "Did you have this much insanity in your world?"

Captain Hook glanced at Tony after the latter mentioned Nick. He was thoughtful. ''Nick. Nick,'' he muttered. Captain Hook tapped a finger on his face a few times. His eyes became wide. He turned to Jack.
''YOU TOOK THIS BAG FROM SANTA?!'' His jaw dropped in a smile as he blinked twice. His next smile was genuine. ''I'm impressed! How did you take this bag? Was Santa resting when you took it?''

Alexia laughed at Tony's question. "You are asking me if it was this crazy in my home reality? Tony don't you remember who my parents are? That goes without saying!"She said with a hearty laugh.
