{{This is so not my world}} Jon thought as he made his way through the crowded streets of New York City. Everyone seemed so very hip and trendy, and Jon hated that beyond words at the moment. His wolf Ghost stayed behind with his sister Arya after he had secured them lodging in this dreadfully noisy place. They had come here via portal when a man named Amergin Gluingel came to their world and said they needed to save their parents in this one.
They had failed in their own, so Jon had little hope of it really happening here. But he had to try, no matter what the cost to him in the end.
{{Christmas. Mum so loved Christmas. And Dad always gave her what she wanted, even if it meant pulling the family together from the depths of Hell to celebrate the holiday}}
Jon walked absentmindedly past a group of young people headed to the skating rink nearby. At least that's what they were chatting about when he brushed past them.

Domino was deep in thought as she walked toward the skating rink. She told Logan she'd help Jubilee keep the young X-Men from getting into trouble, and so far all she'd done was get lost in her own little world. She missed Conor, and being with him was all she could think about as she kept dodging slow-trodding tourists.
((For the love of God, move already!)) she thought as she tried to get around some ladies who were, apparently, visiting from out West and stopping to take selfies with some soap opera star. ((I do not care if he was Dr. Drake Ramoray. Just move!))
Dom started to slip around the group and promptly walked into some guy who seemed to be lost in his own world, too. "Buddy, watch it!" she said as she moved around the man with the dark curly hair.

"My apologies, miss," the young man said as he bowed slightly to the woman with the dark patch around one eye. "I'm new to this city, and I'm not used to the local customs."
"You don't have to tell me twice," the woman replied as she looked at Jon and shook her head. "You are way too polite. Name's Domino. And you are?"
"Just call me Jon," he replied as some girl came over and grabbed his arm. "Excuse me? I don't think..."
"Eeek! Kit Harington! It is you!" the teen screamed as her friends ran over with their cellphone cameras snapping away. "You know nothing, Jon Snow!"
"Jon Raven Howlett," he muttered under his breath, noticing them that the woman named Domino had a very odd look on her face. "What?"
"You said Howlett? And Raven as in Darkholme?" she asked as Jon turned stone white and slowly stepped away from the crowd of girls.
"Dear God no! Raven as in the MacFeorais clan crest. Please. Do not cast my lot with Darkholme!" he shouted at Domino as he spat on the ground.
"So noted, Jonny boy," Dom said as she saw the girls get ready for round two. "Ladies, Mr. Harington has an audition to attend. Please, let him get on his way," she added as she grabbed him by the arm and guided him down the street. "You owe me, mister. Now, are you looking for your parents here, or will that make some earth-shattering event happen somewhere?"

OOC: Yes, there was a bar with this name in Manhattan--just not that close to Rock Center. I am not sure if it still exists or not.
IC:
"You two really need to slow down," Padraic O'Carroll said as he came running up behind Domino and her handsome young friend. "My name is..."
"Padraic O'Carroll, this is one of your cousins," Domino said as she guided both men into a bar called the Roisin Dubh. "One of Kari's."
"Thanks for saving me from making an ass of myself," Padraic said as he smiled at the young man. "And your name?"
"Jon Raven Howlett," the newcomer said as a slight smile crossed Padraic's lips. "What?"
"Not my story to tell. Kari and Logan can tell you that one," Padraic added as he slid onto a bar stool. "Bottle of bourbon. Three glasses," he said to the bartender. "And I heard the question about earth-shattering events. What brings you to this end of the universe, Jon?"
"Not a what. A who," Jon said as he sat down. "Amergin Gluingel."

"Oh no, not that nut job," Domino said as she grabbed the bottle and poured everyone a glass. "Sorry. I know he's the family advisor, mage, chief of staff or whatever Siofra calls him this week. He's as flaky as Pillsbury. Oh wait. Do you have Pillsbury dough in your world?"
"We didn't," Padraic said with a laugh. "It wasn't magical enough for Ronan the Everlasting, so he banned it."
"Ronan? As in my grandfather?" Jon asked as Padraic nodded to him. "He was a king in your world, too?"
"Try tyrant," Padraic said as he lifted his glass. "To better worlds. For all of us."
"To better times, and those not with us," Domino said as she thought of Dragonfly with her first sip.

"To absent friends and family," Jon said as he took a sip of his bourbon. He stared at the glass as he set it down. "It has been too long since I had that libation."
"You said Amergin brought you here," Padraic said as Jon nodded in reply. "Why? I know he likes to run around the multiverse collecting stray MacFeorais family members, but he usually has a very specific reason for doing it."
"He said my parents were in danger in this world. I lost mine a few years ago. I couldn't let that happen again," Jon replied as he looked around the bar. The holiday lights and tree were things he had given up seeing when his parents died. "They were Avengers in my world. We were Avengers. I was going to head to that building with the very big A on the side in hopes that someone there could help me..."
"You do not want to drop in there unannounced," Domino said as she shot Padraic a funny look. Jon could not help but think this was all going south very fast. "They may be Avengers, and our Logan is one here, but right now our Kari is not exactly a welcome soul among them. Not really anyway."
"That hissyfit by Stark was uncalled for, especially since he's the one who almost killed Kari and Jean Grey," Padraic added as Jon filled his glass again. "If you want to see them, don't just drop in. Let us make introductions for you. Might save you some heartache."
Jon nodded again as he continued drinking his bourbon. "I wouldn't go see them without my sister anyway. Arya would kill me if I did."
