Holiday Nuptials

[Claymore]

Liam had broken off from Scott, Nathan and Cass to try and find out where his mother was. "Ichigo!" he yelled to his brother as he moved quickly across the room. "Where is Mom? She said she and Logan would be back with Aunt Adaryn and her brood, and I haven't seen them."

"Shh," Ichigo replied as he took his brother by the arm and led him away from the wedding guests. "Problem in Manhattan, but I didn't want to freak anyone else out," he added as he pulled out his phone and showed Liam what was happening near Avengers Tower. "Spiral is there, too, but I don't think she caused this mess. Avengers seem to have it under control, or Mom would have called. We both know that. Maybe we should chill--for now anyway?"

"Oh, we do not need this," Liam grumbled as he handed Ichigo back his phone. "Bad enough Chetna is dating Loki. Sorry, but I still don't trust that guy."

"Think I do?" Ichigo said as he made a funny face. "Seriously. The guy plays all the angles, and I hate that."

[Aerfen DalCais]

Aerfen more or less pulled Dane Whitman into this mess of a wedding, and she felt more and more sorry about it as the minutes ticked along. "You must really hate me for dragging you into this event," she said softly to her friend as he shook his head. "You really don't mind being here with all of this? It really looks like some of the guests dropped in from a Potter film. I actually did watch the first one. That boy wizard reminds me too much of my cousin Finn. Finn is..."

"Right behind you," the now horned teenager said as he reached around and hugged Aerfen. "I'm fine. I just look like I belong in some horror film."

"You do not!" Aerfen said as she hugged Finn back. "Finn, this is Dane Whitman. Dane, this is Finn MacFeorais Priest."

"And you can see why I usually just go by Finn," the young man said as he shook Dane's hand. "Avoid that corner near the French doors to the garden. Grandmum Siofra is there holding court. She's mad about something to do with the catering. And she tried to pick a fight with Melkir."

"Lovely. Now it feels like a family wedding!" Aerfen said as she rolled her eyes.

[Amergin Gluingel]

Amergin made his way to the room where Jessie and her mothers were waiting. He was not pleased that some members of the family had not yet arrived, but waiting any longer could lead to some of the guests being less than their sparkling best. He was not about to have some mystic or preternatural battle break out in the middle of this wedding. It was bad enough Sean and Miri's nuptials had been disrupted by Selene Gallio and her little coven. He was not about to let that happen again.

"Jessie, you look magnificent," he said as he clasped her hands for the briefest of moments. He did not want her reading his concern about what was keeping some of the guests away in Manhattan longer than they wished. "And Ewan...just made his way to the bower. His friend Elijah got him away from some old chum that refused to shut up. Some people have no sense of time! Now, are you ready, my dear?"     

[Craig Dragotti]

                Craig began to glance at James Hook with Cecilia. The corners of his mouth went down. *At least Cecilia isn't sitting with one enemy* he thought. Craig refused to turn to Isabella and Jasper Hook again. His eyes settled on Cicero. He blinked after he saw concern in the latter's eyes. He smiled.

                 ''I'll be fine, Cicero.'' His frown came back. *Maybe!* 

                 Craig was a bit shocked about not revealing tears. A wedding. He tried not to remember his past wedding. 

[Captain Jasper Hook]

              Jasper was a bit shocked about being permitted to attend the wedding. Same with Isabella. He wondered if the guests kept their eyes on him in case he tried anything. Jasper smiled at everyone present. They never had to worry about anything from him. He glanced at his younger brother and frowned.

            *I remember capturing Cecilia years ago. My prisoner. The betrothed of my younger brother. Midshipman James Hook.*

           Perhaps Selene's coven members were going to return to their cells after the wedding. Jasper never forgot about Selene. At least he was going to be near her. He didn't have to worry a whole lot about her.

"THANK YOU!" She said with a smile. "YES I am ready....I feel like I've been ready for an eternity and an eternity is enough. " she said as she grasped Amergins hand as he lead her to where the ceremony would take place.

[Cecilia]

               Cecilia smiled before she rested her head on James Hook's shoulder. She was safe with the man she loved. She almost forgot about her previous scowl and tears as soon as his older brother captured her some time ago. After glancing at Jasper, a frown formed. Cecilia's body tensed. Her eyes settled on her betrothed. Her smile came back.

           *I won't be captured again. As long as I'm with my betrothed. He will protect me* Cecilia thought. After turning to the other guests, she continued to smile.  

[Elijah]

"I think we are about to begin," Elijah said as he saw Scott Summers head to the room where Jessie was getting ready. Scott would not be the only one to walk the bride down the aisle. Scott and all of Jessie's mothers would have that honor this day. "Stop fussing with your jacket. You look fine."

"Something seems...off..." Ewan replied as the quartet near the bower started to play the selected song for Jessie's entrance. He then looked to see Siofra making some huge stink about something near the rear of the room. "And it is my grandmother. The sooner we complete the ceremony, the happier we will all be. Grandmum means well, but her ideas of a fine event are not ours."

[Madelyne Pryor]

Maddie was thrilled that she was going to be one of those walking Jessie down the aisle. It was very odd, though, to see Scott Summers and his collection of current and former flames escorting their daughter. "I can just imagine how this will go over with some of the gang," she said with a grin as Emma glared at her for the tiniest of moments.

"Jessie, let's go," Maddie said as the quartet started to play.

[Isabella Dragotti]

                Isabella smiled and remained by Jasper Hook at the same time. Although she wasn't going to disrupt a wedding this time, at least her spouse suffered. She turned to Craig. She saw tears in his eyes. The corner of Isabella's mouth went up. *My ex-spouse wishes for another wedding? A funeral will replace a potential wedding if he isn't careful*

[Mrs Maureen Brown]

Mrs. Brown saw an empty seat near Mr. Dragotti and sat down. "That catering staff needs a good talking to," she said with a slight huff as she made sure the ringer on her phone was turned off. "If they had not been spoken to by that fairy woman over there, I'm sure they would have dropped the wedding cake, and it is a considerable cake indeed! Master Jack would have had words with them, but he is not here yet. He and Lady Mira should be here shortly. I hope anyway."

As she looked at Mr. Dragotti, Mrs. Brown saw Mrs. Dragotti nearby. Mrs. Brown looked at Cicero and smiled at the little wyvern. "You make sure your master is happy, my friend, and I'll make sure to get some morsels for you later." 

[Craig Dragotti]

                After hearing footsteps, Craig glanced at Mrs. Brown. His smile returned. He nodded at her. Craig heard Mrs. Brown as she mentioned the catering staff. He tilted his head to one side. ''The wedding cake was nearly dropped?'' 

              Cicero cooed the minute she mentioned making sure his master was happy. He drooled at the thought of morsels. 

[Leo Sumner]

Leo looked at his new companion and shook his head. "You sit here and don't attract attention to yourself," he said to Bruce Wayne as he propped the gent in a chair near a back wall. "Henry McCoy, I need your assistance," he muttered to himself as he looked for the blue furred X-Man called Beast. He glanced back to see Bruce sort of slumping in the chair and muttered an incantation to keep the man upright. "Beast! Beast!"

Several people tried to get Leo to keep quiet as the wedding was about to start, but he growled at them and kept moving until he found Hank. "I hate to do this to you, but I have a problem, and I need your help."

"You. Need my help. Surely you jest," Hank replied until he saw Leo point to the man in the chair. "Thomas O'Malley seems to have it under control," he added as the man dressed in a black suit with red accents sat next to the slumping Dark Knight.

"Oh f*ck," Leo said as he ran back toward Thomas and Bruce.  "Henry, I was not joking! I do need your help!"

[Sasha Sadovsky]

              Sasha was worried as he tried to search for Alison. He thought she was nearby earlier. Sasha wondered if his mother's demise caused him to always worry about others. He glanced at various guests. Sasha's eyes settled on the man he assumed was Bruce Wayne. *That man looks like he could be Batman. I'm not certain.*

          Sasha walked to Bruce. ''Pardon me. If you're Batman, you must know. Harley and the Sewer King are going to NYC to end your life. The Sewer King is a very bad man! He hurts children.''

As the music started Jessie turned with her father and mothers and started to walk toward the wedding. Her Jean, Maddie and Emma were in front of her and Scott was at her side holding her hand. The smile on Jessie's face could barely be contained as the music played and the walked she could see at the end of the path the man she would be spending the rest of her life with and she at this moment felt like her life was finally becoming complete.

As they walked she felt one more presence and it brought a even bigger smile to her face. The wind gently blew her hair back and forth as a light fiery halo could be seen around her head for a moment. Her other mother the Phoenix itself was handing her over to Ewan. {"I love you mother thank you for being here."} She said to the Phoenix as the halo then vanished.
