Light theme, dark theme, adios template for apps??

Hi all!

Stalik made a comment yesterday regarding the skin and issues he has been having using it due to the brightness of the thing. I had been having issues reading the dark skin and never thought in reverse on it.

I have installed the old theme we had at our previous board, so people who want to switch to use it can do so in the profile area for your characters.

The default theme will remain the white one for now.

I still have to add a banner and tweak the other skin, but I won't likely get to that for a bit.

I think the app template will go bye bye as well unless I can tweak the silly thing.

Does this mean there will be a different app template?

It would likely mean we'll just stop using it going forward unless I can tweak what we have in place. Since someone else designed the template, I have to see if I am allowed to tweak it. Not every forum with design templates allows you to fiddle with them.

I have a query in to the good folks at Adoxography, the tech board I go to for help. I will also look there for a different app template once I am back online (after the 19th).

With the exception of a banner, the dark theme has been fixed. I will try to get a temporary banner in place later.

Anyone wishing to use the dark theme (called Red Light) can set it as the preferred theme in their profiles. The drop down menu to change the theme can be found in the Profile editing area under Settings.

Thanks to Elli at Adoxography, the dark theme is now fixed! I may tweak the CBox colors a bit, but that is not a priority at the moment.
