Oh Hai!
So I'm sitting at work and my imagination is going wild. Really want to discuss some plottage. Some of you may have noted that I apped Sebastian Shaw and I played Selene in the wedding thread where upon being attacked by a psychic barrage, entered a comatose state.
This reminds me of the comics when Namor and Emma had a lengthy flirtation that somehow ended up with Emma Frost approaching and imprisoning Sebastian Shaw for his crimes against mutant-kind. I would like for Sebastian Shaw to get to where he is currently in the comics, working with the X-Men. It seems like the comics keep trying to make the Hellfire Club members (Selene and Shaw) everyday comic characters after the success of Emma Frost's popularity in the comics. Charlie like.
So in my head, I have played with the idea of Shaw also being captured by the X-Men, but perhaps Selene can just take his place.
What are yall's characters doing post-wedding? What kinds of things can we get going to make things intricate? It looks like some people are taking some breaks, which is fine by me. One on One roleplaying is still great! I can't believe I havent apped Betts yet.

I assume Jasper and Isabella are going to be in their own cells - far from Selene.
If I remember correctly, there was going to be a trap set up for the X-Men by Selene's coven.
Mr. Dragotti isn't with Jack right now, but I assume he'll be with Mrs. Brown.
Sasha will probably still hang out with the other X-Men.
Spiral is still in the Savage Land. I have NO idea where Mojo is!
I assume Major Domo is going to be wherever Erinyes is.
Captain Hook will be with a mental health person after being traumatized by Jasper's illusions.
I assume Omega Red will still be causing chaos with Harley.

Very nice! I got your PM too. It sounds like a great setup! Anyone see Selene's resurrection in the comics? It was so anticlimactic that it was hilarious. They basically get caught by Storm and Storm says "If you disband, I'll let you be"
and Selene's like "okay! Byeeeeeee"

My son & I are both sick at the moment, so I need to get both of us squared away first. I'm pretty frazzled, and I do not want to repeat the Great Pneumonia Incident of 2012.
That said, we can set up the thing regarding Shaw any way you wish, Chuck. I'm open to all ideas. Drop me a PM here or flag me down on Facebook. And as for Selene, let me see who is "missing" in my Mystic War areas with people being MIA, and I'll toss some ideas your way.
As for the other people taking breaks, please do not count Lou, James or Stalik or their characters in any plotting at this time. BTW, I'm holding on to Wolverine even if Stalik does make it back. If Namor is needed, he is free for the taking.
And Mojo can make an appearance anywhere you want, Spiral. I may not get to post those character with him right away, but feel free to drop Mojo where you see fit, be it in the 616 universe or an AU.

I know Mojo was with one OC - Copernicus (?) I also know he is looking for Spiral and Major Domo. Hmmm. I'm sort of leaning towards Mojo maybe crashing the wedding and then becoming a prisoner of the X-Men with Selene and her coven?

After reading New Mutants Forever, I kinda like the idea of Selene becoming somewhat of an Anti-villian as well. Has anyone read that comic series?
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT
Basically it takes place when the Hellfire Club was Selene, Shaw, Magneto, and Frost. The Hellfire Club is attacked and it is revealed that Selene is in fact Magma's grandmother (which originally was hinted at while Claremont was writing, of course becoming retconed later). And Selene was somewhat protective of both Magma and Magma's father. Selene basically became the New Mutants leader to defeat Red Skull. Magik looked up to her... The interaction was good in my opinion. I also don't feel like it conflicted with Selene's personality as you would probably think. It did show that Selene had some honor which was interesting.
Maybe we can have someone interact with Selene in the cell with some sort of relationship developing like that?

No one in mind really! Just anyone interested in that development. It wouldn't be the same as the corruption approach that Selene took with Jesse Gray over the years... Which could cause this character to clash with jesse on their views of Selene.

I'll try to make time to read the series on my Marvel app once I am clear of this work project. Sorry for my absence yet again. I might (stressing might to a great degree) be able to get on Wednesday to post. Some of the urgency of this project has calmed down, so I might be able to, at least, get things squared away in the holding cells. My brain is mush.

I'm going to post a phone call from Shaw to Emma. I think it would be interesting for Shaw trying to get his hands on Selene himself. Then we can see maybe the X-Men faced with the question of what is ethical... Keeping Selene prisoner, releasing Selene to Shaw... and then knowin that Shaw, Selene, and the Hellfire Club's connections would keep them out of any other prison (such as if they turned her over to SHIELD). Then, Selene could find out Shaw wants to take her into his custody... And perhaps then we see Selene afraid of Shaw (because he would want revenge).

I'm going to try to keep track of where my characters are now to the best of my ability.
1. Spiral is still in the Savage Land. If I remember correctly, she was going to be with Sinister's son.
2. Major Domo is with Erinyes and Wendy Darling right now.
3. Wendy Darling (See Major Domo)
4. Mojo is in prison.
5. Omega Red is eating with Harley.
6. Craig Dragotti is visiting his ex-wife in prison.
7. Sasha is near Alison and Omega Red with Harley.
8. Isabella is a prisoner.
9. Captain James Hook is currently traumatized due to his older brother tormenting him and he's not with the X-Men right now.
10. Captain Jasper Hook is a prisoner.
