Abilities: Holland is highly intelligent but very rough edged and rebellious. He has the ability to manipulate technology. This ability helps him invent new high tech resources much like his robot 7 Prime. Later he developed a network system so advanced it became its own realm co-existing with his own. He is able to pull and manipulate objects from this realm and also allows him to dive into the Network to control other technological devices and primarily 7 Prime.
It is also suspected he can advance some technology so far to actually spark intelligent life. However this has only be done twice in his entire life.
History:
Holland was first hired for England's Spy network to supply them with advance technology when he was 12 years old. During this time he trained in physical and mental perfection. He became an expert in hand to hand combat, expert in firearms, demolitions and other interesting skills he picked up from agents.
He work for England for many years until he started working on a project to allow Agents to pass information back and forth through an advanced communication and programming network. However while working on the project Holland unknowingly using his powers to further technology created an actually pocket realm of living programs and data.
This was too big to allow anyone to know about much less try to control. He abandoned England and decided to work for himself as a free agent taking on random jobs to supply his base of operations. Here he continued to study the pocket realm NETWORK, curious to how it could have happened. He soon discovered he could visually see things differently, how to improve the technology and what type of technology was used to create something.
Working with the Network and creating new highly advanced resources he began working on a Machine where he could go out and be a hero while being totally protected from harm. Using just the top layer of the Network he could become part of the realm itself to control technological devices.. and mainly the Machine called Prime.
He created over 6 different versions of Prime, each controlled by a mastermind computer system. Again unaware he sparked the computer to life where it began to assimilate everything around it to further itself. When Holland tried to stop it with the Primes, MasterControl turned the Primes against him and nearly killed him.
Leaving him to die alone in his warehouse, MasterControl and the Primes set off into the world to destroy civilization and assimilate it.
Holland decided that if he was going to die he would become part of the Network. However when going into the realm he passed out falling into a stasis where he slowly started to heal himself. Weeks later he recovered fully unsure exactly what happened, but swore to destroy the monsters he created. He built another Prime, a semi intelligent computerized robot with 7 core life functions to prevent another mistake to happen. He called this one 7 Prime and went off to destroy all of his creations.
Holland destroyed all rogue Primes but could not locate MasterControl, to this day he is unaware of where this bad seed is and what its plotting. Reports of Sentinels sparked an interest in Holland, after reading their technology his horrors were made real. A small hint of his branded techno signature was found in their adaptability core. He tracked many sentinels to an attack on what seemed like a school, in fact it was but for gifted people. Those with magical and mutant abilities. He helped the X-men and group evacuate and continued to help them as he searched for more clues.
