''I'm fine,'' Wendy said to Major Domo. She continued to smile. She shrugged near Erinyes. ''I remember seeing all sorts of creatures in Neverland. Mermaids. Fairies. Witches. Ghosts.'' Wendy forgot about Spiral.
''We can play Tag in the park. Then, we can search for Captain Hook? I remember him capturing me repeatedly, but he is still a gentleman deep down.''

Spiral's eyes widened after she discovered the creatures were humans. Her smile returned. ''Former humans? Interesting!'' Spiral remembered when she was once human. Before Mojo gave her extra arms.
''I could teleport the creatures to Mojo's world. Even if Mojo isn't in his world, the creatures will wreck everything. Television monitors. Mojo's statues of himself. Just say the word. I'll perform a dance to get rid of the creatures.''

Wolverine was half tempted to let Spiral do her thing and take these creatures back to Mojo's domain, but then he thought of her making a damned army with them. "How do we know you won't use them to try and take over the world? Would be right up your alley, Spiral."
"Right now, darling, it might be worth the risk!" Kari shouted to him as the creature continued to spawn new demons. "I can take some to the pit in Annwyn, and I'm sending out an SOS to Yana. Maybe she can dump a few in Limbo?"
"But these are human beings," T'Challa started to say before one of the creatures launched itself at his general Okoye. Her spear took the creature down with little trouble because she rammed it in the head.
"Your highness, these folks can't be helped," Logan replied as he sunk his claws into the head of a demon. It fell dead at his feet. As he rolled it over, he saw a brand on its skin. "Spiral, take'em away! Cap, these things are courtesy of Hydra! We can't save'em!"

Spiral heard Wolverine as he mentioned her using creatures to conquer the world. The corner of her mouth almost reached her eye. She was tempted to try to control the creatures. Yet she didn't have any mind controlling abilities. Spiral wondered when the creatures were going to attempt to devour her. Although she had six arms, there were still too many creatures.
Spiral began to gesture with four arms. Her other two arms remained still. Four energy beams emerged from her hands. They connected to form a portal. A portal capable of capturing just the creatures. She ceased gesturing and stepped back.

"My sweet Aunt Petunia! What the heck is going on now?"
Ben Grimm had stopped at the superhero bar Guernica to get a bit of cheer when he saw the "Demons in New York" feature on the local news.
"Seriously, Wolverine, did your wife do this?" The Thing chuckled as he then noticed Spiral open a portal. "Wait. Since when is Spiral playing for the side of the angels? Whatever. I wanted to get these gifts home to the kiddos. I'll help you get rid of these...first..."
"They were people once," Logan replied as Ben shook his head.
"OK, Sinister? Some other crackpot scientist?" Thing asked as Wolverine shrugged his shoulders.
"Hydra. That's all we know," the Canadian replied.
"Figures," Thing said as he grabbed a demon and tossed it at the portal. "Where are we sending these things anyway?" he then asked Spiral. "And it better not be to your boss."
"Thing is an Avenger," Logan mentioned to Kari as she nodded back to him.

Kari had no beef with three-quarters of the Fantastic Four, but she still felt as uneasy around Reed Richards as she did around Tony Stark. She nodded to Logan as Grimm entered the fight and prayed silently that if Mr. Fantastic did show up, she'd be able to keep it together and not go off on him about that mess with the Negative Zone prison. "Keep tossing them, Thing. As much as I hate to do this, they are beyond hope."
As she formed her own portal to the fiery pit of Annwyn, Kari could feel the souls of the dying creatures flee this world screaming and crying as they went to their eternal rest. The pain they had endured was beyond anything she had ever experienced.
"May your creator welcome you gently to the next world," she said softly as the demonic creatures were sent toward both portals. "We need to keep that arm so Beast can study it..."
"Along with our science team," Cap replied as Kari nodded.
"And one from the Mystic Council. Alec Broadchurch should be looped into this," Kari said as she turned to her husband. "We can get him later at the wedding...which means at the reception. Damn. Another family event we'll miss out on."

Spiral frowned after Ben Grimm appeared. She tried to remember if she battled him. There were many enemies she battled when she was with and without Freedom Force. Spiral viewed him throwing a demon into the portal. She smiled. ''The creatures are going to become Mojo's pets.''
The creatures shrieking never bothered Spiral. There were so many cries from others as they suffered in her Body Shoppe years ago. The cries originally bothered her. After countless cries, she disregarded them. Perhaps enjoyed them. Spiral heard what Kari said about a wedding. ''I can form a portal to get you to your destination faster.''

Major Domo turned to Wendy. He began to blink a few times. ''Tag?'' He placed a metal finger under his face. ''Oh! I remember seeing videos of young adults playing this game. One person chases the other and touches a shoulder or arm. Then the other person must chase him or her.''
Frowning, Major Domo glanced at his cloak. ''I'm afraid I won't be able to participate.'' He tapped the bottom of his cloak. ''I won't be able to run and I may fall. '' Major Domo smiled. ''You two can still play.''
Major Domo touched the bottom of his face another time. He tried to remember who Captain Hook was. Major Domo remembered Mojo capturing his enemies and slaves. His master was definitely not a gentleman. Mojo was rarely nice if television ratings increased. He didn't wish to imagine the consequences for fleeing from Mojo. Worry filled his eyes again.
''This Captain Hook may capture you again, Wendy. Just be careful near him.''

"Sister! Why didn't you call me?"
A swirling ribbon of darkness moved among the gathered heroes and formed next to Karenza as Kai, her half-brother from the world where mystics ruled their universe, landed deftly next to her. "You know I can help with these creatures!"
"Spiral, I appreciated the offer," Karenza shouted to their, for the time being, compatriot. "This, unfortunately, is the first priority."
"Did I hear her say Mojo will be making pets of these demons?" Kai asked as he saw Kari try not to answer his query. "Lesser of two evils, I take it?"
"Exactly," Kari replied as she watched Kai send ribbons of darkness toward the demons as he also cut away with his katana.

Spiral never forgot about Erinyes and Major Domo. She began to smirk. *Just like Longshot. He always fled from me before I found him. I'll eventually find Major Domo and his friends. Sooner or later* she thought.
Spiral turned to a new man after he appeared with a swirl of ribbons of darkness. She glanced at Karenza. ''My former master is a bit more fickle than I am. His new toys will most likely bore him after a few seconds,'' Spiral said.
The sight of a katana caused Spiral's smile to remain on her face. *Another swordsman. Interesting!* she thought.

For the briefest of moments Kari touched the mind of her sons Liam and Ichigo to see if the wedding was indeed taking place or if, like this battlefield, Westchester was now overrun by demons. She smiled slightly as she saw, through Liam's eyes, that the wedding was taking place.
{{Darling, I dropped a bug in Liam's ear that we won't make it for the ceremony}} Kari said telepathically to Logan as more of the Avengers seemed to be making their way to the scene. {{And no, I do not plan to ask Spiral for help getting home. Scott and Emma would lock me up again, and I really don't want that}}
"Sister, where did you go?" Kai asked as he kept a demon from sneaking up behind her. "X-Men weddings are X-Men weddings. We will get there when we can."
"I promised Ewan..." Kari said quietly as her eyes started to flicker with what could only be called dark light. "And I am sick to death of breaking promises."
"Heavy is the head..." Kai replied as he kept one eye on Spiral.

Kai looked at Spiral and shook his head before sending another tendril of darkness into an oncoming demon. "Who is this master of which you speak? And why would he keep these demons as pets? Even the tengu warlords of my world would toss them into the abyss."
"They are mutated humans, Kai," Kari said as she seemed to radiate with more of the dark light that Kai had once seen his Kari in his home world manipulate with ease and grace in battle. "And they deserved a better fate than this."
"Is your master a warlord?" he asked Spiral as he started to step away from Kari. "You may wish to step back. I am not sure what the avatar plans to do. I mean Kari. Or whatever has stepped forward in her."

Spiral heard Kai's words. Her smile formed again. ''My master? He's Mojo. There are other names for him. Names I never mention in front of him.''
Spiral continued to smile. ''My master enjoys viewing others suffering. Entertainment. Mojo gave me extra arms. He won't have any problems with using mutated humans as pets.'' She gestured with four hands, but not for magic.
''A warlord? Mojo is something like that.'' She stepped back.

{{Screw what the Avengers think}} Kari said to Logan as she took a deep breath and started to manipulate the darkness that was now surrounding them thanks to her other-dimensional brother Kai. She was giving off her own as well, but having more to wield, in this case anyway, was a boon. {{I will not miss any more of Ewan and Jessie's wedding. I will not let these poor people suffer any longer. I just wish I could figure out where they are coming from. Who is doing this...}} she said to her husband as more and more tendrils of darkness enveloped the demonic creatures and sent them into the ether. Soon the battlefield was free of the attackers and only Spiral, the Avengers and the X-Men remained.
{{Kai, before you ask...}} Kari said to her brother telepathically before he sheathed his katana and turned to Spiral. "Spiral, your help is greatly appreciated, but if we find out this was a scouting mission for Mojo..." Kari said aloud as the Avengers there gathered around the X-Men and Spiral. "I sent the remainder to the pit in Annwyn, Captain. We could not have fought that lot forever. And we have a wedding to get to."

One of Spiral's eyebrows went up as soon as she observed Kari manipulating the darkness. *An interesting ability. How interesting indeed!* she thought. All six arms no longer tensed after the creatures were gone. That was when she heard about a possible scouting mission from Mojo. Her smile came back.
''I'm not serving Mojo at the moment. As a matter of fact, I'm not exactly sure where he is. Maybe he's in his world. Maybe not. As long as he isn't near me. Being loud,'' Spiral said. She heard the wedding being mentioned.
Spiral figured she wasn't invited. What was her next location going to be? Decisions. Decisions.
