8/3/19 - AUGUST 2019 FAN FICTION 1
SUPERMAN TAS
I never created Superman TAS.
SUPERGIRL'S SCOWL
Supergirl frowned the minute she viewed a villain attacking a few people in Smallville. Her eyes were on the enemy's scowl before she flew to him. ''Attacking people for fun? Not for long,'' Supergirl said to him. She saw the villain's wide eyes. After Supergirl lifted him by his arms, she eventually found herself by the local prison. She placed him in front of the door and flew from him.
One smile replaced Supergirl's frown. Others were safe from villains. Supergirl also remembered a large chocolate cake in the fridge. One sweet treat after protecting others. She descended by a farm and saw a window. Supergirl's eyes widened. A new scowl materialized on her face.
Reverend Amos Howell smiled and ate a slice of chocolate cake near the kitchen table. The last slice. One empty platter remained on the table.
Supergirl remembered his sweet tooth as she tensed. One new smile appeared before she ran to the general store.
Many minutes later, Supergirl entered the kitchen and carried a bag. Eyes settled on Reverend Amos Howell's empty plate. There was a brief scowl. Another new smile. Supergirl emptied the bag in front of Amos. She saw his wide eyes. She began to scowl another time.
''Your new food,'' Supergirl said to Amos. She focused on a few cans of wet cat food. ''I'm going to buy a litter box for you tomorrow. Never eat my cake!''
THE END
ALWAYS PROTECTING
Frowning, Supergirl flew to a villain with her arms stretched. She looked back after the latter stepped to one side and dodged her attack. There was a glance at a few buildings in Smallville. *I have to protect everyone. Protect animals. Protect property. Protect everyone except this guy.*
After flying to the villain another time, Supergirl lifted him by his arms. She began to swing him once. She flung him far. Supergirl followed her enemy. One smile formed on her face. *Everyone should be safe. My foster parents. Reverend Amos Howell.*
That was when Supergirl remembered Amos running errands for Jonathan and Martha earlier. Perhaps he already returned to their farm.
Supergirl's eyes flew open the minute she viewed the unconscious villain on the scowling preacher. He writhed on his stomach as his arms barely managed to support him.
Amos ceased writhing and scowled at Supergirl. He glanced from the villain to the paper bags on the ground. Three eggs were shattered. Eggs for a chocolate cake Martha was going to bake for Amos later. Amos focused on Supergirl another time.
''YOU'RE PUNISHED FOR TWO MONTHS!'' he shouted.
There was also a torn bag of flour.
Supergirl's shoulders slumped. *Protect Reverend Amos Howell. Protect eggs* she thought. Supergirl waited for the villain's eventual arrest. She winced. She also waited for her eventual punishment. If Amos was able to stand.

PREACHERS DISCOVER
''I'm not hungry,'' Kara said as she frowned near a bowl of stew. She glanced at Reverend Amos Howell's new scowl.
''I remember you cooking all day, but I'm not hungry.'' Kara watched while Amos turned and abandoned her. There was a slight shrug before she focused on the fridge and smiled. She approached the fridge.
After Kara opened the door, she viewed a slice of chocolate cake. She took the plate and ate the slice. Kara's eyes widened when Amos appeared and scowled at her.
''You'll eat a cake slice and not my stew?'' Amos smiled. ''Leftovers tomorrow, Kara.''
THE END
SUPERGIRL SHOULD SMILE
Reverend Amos Howell frowned as a villain approached Supergirl in Metropolis. A day of fun disrupted. ''Father-daughter'' shopping. Amos viewed Supergirl scowling at the villain prior to the enemy fleeing. Rare concern formed in his eyes after her shoulders slumped. One rare gentle smile appeared.
''You'll eventually defeat the villain. I'm certain he'll be arrested soon,'' Amos said. His frown came back the minute she turned to him with tears in her eyes. Amos had to cheer her up. He entered a shop and returned a few minutes later. He revealed a bag of treats near Supergirl. They smiled together.
THE END
NEVER CHECK
Supergirl looked back before she smiled. She continued to fly and search for villains to defeat in Smallville. Supergirl's foster parents never checked on her after supper. She was able to check on others for as long as she wished. She flew above many buildings. The area was barren.
After Supergirl flew to her parents' farm, she opened the door and stepped into the kitchen. Her eyes were wide as soon as she viewed Reverend Amos Howell standing by a table and scowling. She began to wince.
*That's right. Reverend Amos Howell checks bedrooms sometimes. Nosy preacher!* Supergirl suddenly scowled.
THE END
HOLD BACK
Kara shuddered the minute Reverend Amos Howell smiled near a crowd. She saw his tight lips and small eyes. It was as if he remembered luring others to Unity and enjoying every minute. The corner of his mouth revealed teeth.
''We're shopping in Metropolis. Remember? You're not gathering others for your master to control. He abandoned you,'' Kara said.
A frown replaced Reverend Amos Howell's smile.
''You held back?''
Amos turned to Kara prior to a nod. He looked ahead again.
Kara wondered if Amos held back tears if Unity struck him. Knocked him down. If the preacher sobbed uncontrollably.
THE END
PROTECTING SUPERGIRL
Reverend Amos Howell glowered after a creature attacked Supergirl in Metropolis. His eyes were wide as soon as it used its tail to knock her down. He stepped back. The creature was too quick to avoid after it appeared near buildings. Near the restaurant where Supergirl and Amos ate lunch a few minutes ago. He turned to the horrified crowd. A frown formed.
*Others are eager to obey a preacher.* Amos continued to frown. ''Protect Supergirl this instant. Remain with her.''
His eyes widened again after the crowd ran. He watched as Supergirl knocked the creature unconscious with two kicks.
THE END
ONE HAPPY PREACHER
Supergirl scowled after one hungry creature appeared by many trees. She turned to Reverend Amos Howell as he glowered at the creature. ''You shouldn't protect me. I'll be fine.'' Supergirl tensed when Amos tried to protect her. ''I guess you never heard me.''
Supergirl's eyes widened the minute the creature scratched Amos twice and he cried out. His long coat and trousers were torn. She saw his blue boxers and blushed.
Amos collapsed and tried to smile. He winced.
After Supergirl's new scowl formed, she lifted the creature with one hand and flung it.
Amos smiled in bed.
Protect Supergirl.
THE END
ANOTHER ALIEN
Reverend Amos Howell smiled as Supergirl flew ahead. His foster family seemed willing to protect him from harm. His kind family. Not like his master. Unity. The alien hitting Amos occasionally if he was enraged. The alien eventually abandoning his preacher.
Amos viewed an alien with many tentacles appearing. A wish to conquer Smallville? Just like Unity? His eyes widened as he stepped back.
Every memory returned. Unity's tentacle knocking Amos down. Amos sobbing after Unity abandoned him.
Scowling, Supergirl kicked the alien twice and lifted it by the tentacles. After flinging it, she viewed Amos sobbing uncontrollably. Supergirl shrugged.
THE END
THE CROWD
Kara tilted her head to one side after Reverend Amos Howell dropped two bags in Metropolis. Not the usual shopping day.
Kara viewed Amos frowning and approaching a crowd. Worry formed in her eyes. She wondered if Amos was going to try to lure others to Unity. Assuming he was able to find his master.
''Unity should be good for everyone,'' Amos said to the crowd.
Kara began to blink twice after the crowd abandoned Amos. ''Unity? The concept? Your master?''
''The concept.''
Kara glanced at bags. She smiled near Amos. ''You'll drop everything for unity.''
''I don't understand, Kara.''
THE END
USUALLY BY YOUR SIDE
Concern appeared in Kara's eyes as soon as she viewed Reverend Amos Howell scowling near his bedroom window. ''Are you remembering your master?'' she wished to know after she approached him. Kara viewed Amos nodding at a snail's pace.
''My master was by my side when I never preached. After he abandoned me...''
''I'm by your side,'' Kara said. She viewed the preacher's tears and heard him as he sobbed. She smiled and touched his shoulder.
It was the next day when Kara stood by the preacher's side within a church. She scowled after the happy preacher began to sing.
THE END
IF YOU BURY EVERYTHING
Scowling, Reverend Amos Howell stood near many trees and held a shovel. *I'm trying to hate my master for abandoning me, but...* He viewed himself as Unity's preacher. Always. Amos remembered the occasional smile as he lured others for his master to control. How he continued to smile if he considered luring crowds.
Amos began to dig a shallow grave. He removed his string tie before he buried it. Buried his past.
Amos smiled after he returned to Kara. Unity had followers. Amos had his family.
''How are you, Reverend Conniption?''
A scowl caused Kara's eyes to widen.
The conniption.
THE END
ONE SUNDAY
Kara's eyes widened the minute Reverend Amos Howell gathered a crowd within a church. Although he was with her family, she wondered if he considered luring others for his master to control. Kara shuddered when Amos smiled near the crowd. She frowned. *What are you up to?* she thought. She also wondered if part of Amos was willing to return to Unity. To try to get on his master's good side.
Kara winced as soon as Amos began to sing. Others imitated him. Kara remembered how capable Amos was of being cruel.
Hearing his various vocals? Amos was cruel. Indeed.
THE END
IF PREACHERS RECOGNIZE
Kara turned to Reverend Amos Howell as the latter frowned and wandered Smallville. ''Are you remembering your master? Are you wondering if he has new preachers?'' Kara viewed Amos nodding twice. ''People Unity left with?'' There was another nod.
Kara watched as the preacher's eyes widened after two men appeared. ''Unity's new servants?''
Scowling, Amos tried to protect Kara.
''We found you, Reverend Amos Howell. Unity sent us to get rid of useless preachers.''
The servants attacked Amos as he protected Kara. He cried out with his arms around her. They fled.
Kara smiled. ''You're not useless.''
The preacher smiled.
