''Enchanted wine?'' Isabella muttered. One eyebrow was raised. She saw the bottle and frowned. ''What will occur if I taste this wine? Will I be fall asleep or something?'' She glanced at Jasper, but she had no idea how he felt about enchanted wine.

Maeve had gone to get something to drink, and she thought Erin was still behind her, but her daughter had gone off to help Sean deal with his soon-to-be father-in-law. She saw the group near the gates and beat a hasty path toward them with her glass of wine still in her hand. "Jackson, what in the name of the Goddess are you doing? Berating my family is bad enough, but going after your own daughter on her wedding day? Have you no shame or common sense?"
As she looked over at Erin, she could sense much more was going on below the surface. She tried not to see into the minds of those around her, but Erinyes' mental screams were not that easy to ignore. Maeve steeled herself and shut down as much of the "chatter" around her as she could, but a glimpse of a face in Jackson Rydenborne's mind could not be ignored.
{{Erin, can you fill me in on what the hell is going on? Has your grandfather been here at all yet? I haven't seen my father, but then again, this place is a bit crowded}} she asked her daughter telepathically as she kept one eye on Erinyes and one on Jackson Rydenborne.

"My dear lady," Emil said as he opened the wine, "I have not enchanted it yet. I merely want to make sure you think it will be intriguing enough for that scoundrel of an ex-husband to drink. Like in fishing, if the wrong lure is used, the fish will not bite. As for the enchantment, I could certainly put them to sleep, or I could make them like zombies and draw them to you. Or I could simply make them easier to see amongst this crowd of mystic rabble. Whatever you and Jasper would prefer, that is what I will do."
Emil poured the wine and handed a glass to Isabella, and then he poured a second for Jasper. "I am here to help."

Isabella looked sheepish. ''I apologize, Emil. I find it a bit difficult to trust others.'' Isabella scowled. ''Ever since my ex-spouse's kiss caused me to burn.'' She nodded at him. ''I have faith in Mistress Selene and you.''
Isabella took some wine. After sipping it, one eye widened. ''Good wine,'' she muttered. Isabella nodded at Emil another time. She looked thoughtful. *Cause Craig Dragotti to fall asleep? The ability to find him in the crowd?*
After biting her lip, Isabella faced Emil. She smiled. ''Make it easier to find Craig. I wish to view his horrified expression. How are we going to capture him? Put his arms behind his back?''

Jasper took some wine and sipped. ''Not bad,'' he muttered. He faced Emil. ''I'm with the lady. Enable us to locate our enemies. I'm looking forward to seeing my baby brother's shocked expression. Jamie Hook will not defeat me again.''
Jasper seemed thoughtful. ''Is the wine able to weaken our enemies as well? My little brother was a bit of a fighter. I regret teaching him the ways of the pirate now. I wish for my sibling to suffer! I wish for him to sob for our mother!''

"No offense taken, Miss Isabella," Emil said as he bowed his head. "I understand why you are cautious."
Emil nodded to Jasper and looked at the wine. "Locate and weaken. That combination would work very well. And as for what to do to subdue them, Isabella, I am sure Mistress Selene has some very good methods of detaining souls that are vexing or troublesome. She walks in shadow and can make the earth tremble at her word. These petty fools are no match for her."
As the sorceror passed his hand over the bottles of wine, runes flew from his fingertips and seemed to etch themselves into the glass. "That will do the trick. Now I will do my part," he said as he put the bottles and some glasses on a tray and walked off. "I will return shortly, and you will have your beacon to your demons."

One of Jasper's eyes widened after he turned to Isabella. ''Your ex-spouse killed you, Lady Isabella? I thought my brother hated me! I apologize for hearing about what your spouse did to you. I can torment him with my baby brother if you wish.'' Jasper turned to Emil.
''Find and weaken.'' Jasper smiled. ''Sounds good to me.'' His eyes widened after he saw runes near Emil's fingertips. Jasper stepped back. *Runes?* he thought.

Craig touched his throat. His mouth was dry. ''I'm so thirsty,'' he muttered under his breath. Any beverage seemed good to him. Wine or water. As long as he obtained his beverage.
Craig never thought about Cicero any longer. *It's not polite to shout at a waiter. It sounds like something my button men will do. I am more of a gentleman than they are. Maybe I can gesture for a waiter to arrive. I'm VERY thirsty now!* he thought.

Captain Hook scowled the minute his mouth was dry. ''I'm very thirsty,'' he muttered. His eyes narrowed as he glanced at guests. ''SMEE! OBTAIN WINE THIS INSTANT!'' he shouted. Captain Hook blushed and looked sheepish. *I keep forgetting Smee isn't with me now.*
Another scowl formed on Captain Hook's face. ''A gentleman doesn't yell,'' he muttered. He glanced at Craig. That was when Captain Hook winced. ''I am the loudmouth with the hook now. I just won't yell another time.*
Captain Hook's shoulders slumped. *I'm still thirsty.* His eyes widened at the thought of Peter Pan attending the wedding disguised as a waiter. They rolled as he imagined Peter giving him a glass of wine and then pulling it from him. Captain Hook scowled again. He looked from one guest to another.
''COOKSON! OBTAIN WINE! DON'T SPILL ANY WINE ON ME THIS TIME, YOU CLUMSY OX!'' Captain Hook blinked twice. He blushed again. *I forgot. Cookson isn't with me as well.*

Liam had been poking around in the parking lot for as long as was polite, and he had finally slipped into the party area just after Alexia arrived. {{Hey sis}} he said telepathically to her as he made his way to where he sensed her presence. {{So, your father all set now? Did the ascension to the throne go well?}} he asked as he kept walking in her direction. {{Except for the crazy protesters and the media feeding frenzy, things here have been pretty quiet for the most part}}
It was then that he saw the little group around the bride and groom and stopped his walk toward Alexia. {{Uhm, the groom and the bride's papa seem to be having a very loud discussion near some of the protesters. That can't be good}}

Jasper's smile stretched from ear to ear. *How am I going to torment my little brother? Mentioning our mother is one way to torment Jamie Hook.* He looked thoughtful. *What else? What else?*
Jasper's eyes widened at a snail's pace. His smile began to stretch again. *If Mistress Selene or anyone else in her coven can create illusions...* A certain illusion wasn't going to bother Jasper. *My little brother will sob after he views a mere illusion of our mother. A regular illusion. Not one of her decaying, but perhaps later.*
Jasper turned to Selene. ''Mistress, are you able to create illusions? I have something or someone in mind for after we capture my younger brother.'' Why didn't the thought of creating a mere illusion of his mother bother him? As Jasper previously mentioned, he wasn't as attached to Mrs. Hook. He never revealed tears at the mere mention of their parent.
There were other plans for James Hook. Hitting him was one particular plan. James Hook's tears were Jasper's main gifts. Jasper wondered if Emil was able to weaken James.

((Oh, merciful heavens!)) Jack thought as he looked at James and Craig. "Gentlemen, perhaps I can find you both a bit of libation?" he queried as he watched more and more people bustling about. "Alastair, perhaps you and dear old Haggrid can help me track down each gentleman's preferred drink?"
If truth be told, Jack was getting rather concerned about both his friends. Perhaps being at a wedding was not the best thing for either of them? Jack had never been officially married, but Grainne Mhaol had been a common law spouse to him for a time. At least that's what the solicitors told him at the time she decided to walk away. That had been a very bloody big mess back in the day.
The pirate then looked at Cicero and noticed that the wyvern was a bit fidgety. "What is bothering you, little one?" Jack asked as he saw where Cicero was looking. "Mira, isn't that Blackjack Rydenborne getting into it with Sean? Perhaps there will be no wedding in the end today? I pray not, but Jackson Rydenborne is not one to back down if he is upset."

Bella and Sandrine came running out to where Miri and Sean were standing, but they were not prepared for what was going on with people around them. The girl crying threw Bella off a lot more than she should have. {{I don't like this}} she said telepathically to her cousin as the crowd started to get more restless. {{Fine, I'm stowing the sword for now}} she said as she slid it back into its sheath. "Can we be of help?" she asked Sean and Miri.

Craig frowned after Captain Hook shouted. He turned to him and rolled his eyes. He wasn't exactly shocked about the pirate's loud voice. Craig also wasn't shocked about Captain Hook shouting near his crew during the past. That was when he heard Jack's voice. A smile formed on his face.
Craig faced Jack. He continued to smile. ''Thank you, Jack. I'll have red wine. There should be someone with wine here.'' Craig's frown returned. ''According to the loudmouth with the hook, he'll have wine as well.''
That was when Craig noticed Cicero. Concern filled his eyes. ''Cicero?'' he muttered. Craig gasped at the mention of a wedding not occurring. ''Will there be a funeral instead of a wedding?'' Craig began to shudder.

Captain Hook heard Jack before he turned to him. He smiled. ''Thank you, Jack.'' Captain Hook glanced at Craig rolling his eyes. Another scowl replaced his smile at a snail's pace. He also wasn't fond of Craig referring to him as a loudmouth with a hook.
Captain Hook concentrated on a few guests. He saw one woman clad in a white dress. She wasn't a bride. Captain Hook gasped at the sight of her. The woman caused him to remember his betrothed. Cecilia.
Frowning, Captain Hook remembered Cecilia's dress. The red bows on it with lilac. How could he forget about her matching hat? How could he also forget Cecilia's tears after he lied about his pirate life? Tears formed in Captain Hook's eyes for a moment. He looked ahead and scowled again.
Cecilia being captured was another reason why Captain Hook still loathed his elder brother. The day Cecilia cried. The day she refused to marry him. Captain Hook saw Jack.
''The wedding is causing ghosts from my past to haunt me. Memories of my betrothed. Memories of my brother. Not memories of my beloved mother. I don't remember my father at all. I'll forget about my crew now.''
Captain Hook began to glance at Craig. ''We'll never be companions even if we are captured, Mr. Dragotti.'' He scowled another time. He touched his throat. ''I'm very thirsty now,'' Captain Hook said. His scowl remained.
